First snagged this from Styled & Wed just for the fern hairpiece, but found a few more that I loved. Not a big fan of “inspiration” shoots (vs real weddings) but when they are kept realistic/doable like this, it’s great! Enjoy.

You should totally check out the designer Grace Loves Lace! They make beautiful sorta boho-style dresses! I think you'd love them.

I post dresses from her often—search “dress” on the blog, many are from that etsy site.

A blog with tastes that occasionally align with my own, etsyfindoftheday, posted this lovely pairing from etsy (obviously) during her “wedding week” which culminates today. To steal her words…."simple. perfect."
To some it may seem too understated, but to me, this is the ideal AND practical! Working in the medical setting I see most married doctors forgo wearing any rings because they constantly take tight gloves on & off. Rings with any significant height pose hassle & the risk of tearing, so I’m always wondering why I don’t see rings like this! I find its important in a workplace with so much social interaction (co-workers & patients alike) to have your married status be clear. That sounds old fashioned, but I catch people looking for my un-ringed left hand often & know that if a ring does come to rest there, I’d want those glancing guys to know :) To me, this is both the perfect solution, & regardless of practicality, completely my style.

What other blogs do you follow that are similar to yours!?

Confession: I don’t follow many people on tumblr ;)

I like to keep my dash clean and quick to scroll through. I’m seeing going through these that many have not posted in months or years, and some are “similar” only due to volume (they post everything), that said, enjoy perusing!

{Hallelujah Weddings} (posts often & I often reblog, she’s likely annoyed), {white-dress-dreams}, {A Wedding Scrapbook}, {nature-and-weddings}, {HipsterBride}, {loveforweddings}, {theweddingtree}, {futurewedding}, {delicatewedding}, {myhippiewedding}, {20somethingbride}, {ido-dreams}

adventurefolk & brotherstories & djmase These are all (mostly) wedding-free, but just some lovely people living outdoor-appreciative lives.

Most material comes from non-tumblr sites:

Green Wedding Shoes, Grey Likes Weddings, Style me Pretty, Ruffled, Wedding Chicks, Once Wed, Intimate Weddings (less known, so great!), Festival Brides, Mountainside Bride, Love & Lavender.

Check These ALL Out! They are each lovely in their own ways. Find links to every last one of them conveniently on this site …warning, the link is a black hole of procrastination ;)

Speaking of procrastination…damn this took a chunk of time! Enjoy!

I love your blog. I knew there was something missing in my fantasies of my future wedding and this, all of this, is it. Thank you for making this page and having such great taste.

I love this compliment! Mostly because it was MY thought when I first started this…something was missing! Similar blogs tend to cast a wider net as far as “theme/genre”, so “outdoorsy” wedding blogs tend to result in lots of rustic, vintage, country, barn, DIY, or bohemian vibes. But I know what I like! And try my best to limit the postings to that lil niche of pure, unadulterated nature…with some craftiness and whiskey on the side ;) Thanks for your note!

i love this blog! such a cool idea :) just wondering if you had any personal or side blogs that i could follow because i'm sure i would love them!

lilac-haze

Thanks! I like to think its a pretty cool style too ;) As for personal side blogs…yes and no. It’s just what I first logged onto tumblr with and threw a bunch of random reblogs and journal entry-type posts on. Its floating in the blog-o-sphere here. I’d delete it but tumblr won’t allow you to delete your “primary” yet save you “secondary” (this one!).

Feel free to follow it though because I have intentions for its imminent revival…you might say I’m going to refurbish “refurbish" (it’s name, bc I was 19 and so very deep…) Anyways, when I do that, hopefully you will, in fact, love that too <3

The photos you put on your blog are pure perfection. It makes me happy c:

I think a lot of these notes are from weeks back or so, but I popped back in to check my inbox and am lovin all the love! Thank you! And I will be back, posting away, so so so soon :)

Here is some pie, to both thank you for sticking around and as a hopeful sign that the studying hasn’t killed me yet.
This lovely Tumblr will return to its regularly scheduled programming in July. No worries :)

Would you shoot a wedding for a gay couple? What about a Christian gay couple?

Anonymous

I would shoot a wedding for a loving couple :) No other adjectives necessary. (search “lgbt” for a few posts)

That being said…I don’t shoot weddings, or even own a camera! Check sources, as noted, for all photographers.

(p.s. this keeps coming up, anyone have a better idea how I could make it more obvious NONE of this is my work?)

And last but not least, the Zach Gilford (Friday Night Light’s Matt Saracen) and bride, end the night with the BEST thing ever, some whiskey around a campfire. They look so absurdly in love. Hope you all enjoyed these last three posts! And thanks for putting up with my FNL obsession as a 10,000 follower celebration!

This is not typical of me, but I’m absolutely fangirl-ing. Second of three, this is the California winter wedding of Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen, to all my Friday Night Lights peeps) and his gorgeous bride. I’m not one to gush over celeb weddings, they normally end up tacky, but this is so perfectly done! …plus I get this “I TOTALLY know HIM” feeling with all that smiling! His acting and real life expressions are absolutely the same…ahh. I so don’t do this. Dear self, stop with the fangirl. Lets just call this appreciation of art ;)

As reward for your amazing following abilities, I give you the Matt Saracen (ok ok, Zach Gilford, but shout out to all the Friday Night Lights fans who fell in love with this sweet guy) wedding! I’m not going to begin to describe all the perfect things, but its got them all—most of which are beverages, a VERY well dressed groom, and some acoustic tunes by his fellow FNL actor Jesse Plemons (Landry, or Todd in Breaking Bad). TWO MORE POSTS TO COME!

I TOTALLY MISSED IT…BUT HAPPY 10,000 (+55)

Well lovely followers, here is one last post before the big milestone count is hit :) By the time I wake up and check this again, it will be time for a celebratory post—and while it’s super silly, I have one in mind!

Anyways…I love her hair, and the stacks of logs frame that photo perfectly.

Hugs and kisses!! Love the May Fairy
